Director/Producer/Scriptwriter
She is getting attention with high rating Imdb point with well-known film “The Waters of Babylon,” which UK and Turkey co-production feature length Documentary film is. And about her, after leaving education at the Dokuz Eylül University, she went to France where she took cinema and language education, at Ateliers Francais, Paris. She studied dramaturgy and theater at the Akademie Ä°stanbul. She worked as an assistant of director in Plato Film. In 2005 she wrote her first novel “Bir Acayip Öfke,”(A Strange Fury), published by Phoenix Press in 2008. Berfi started to film making with short film in 2007 later on she realized as producer, director and script writer one TV film, 4 feature documentary film. She has been working in the television industry for the last 15 years. She completed Turkish & British Co-Production film "The Waters of Babylon,” at the end of 2023 and has won 18 awards at 16 film festivals in 9 countries around the world. Film is distributing with Multivisionner Pictures California USA for US, UK, AU, NZ and CA also her film distributed at 1 th March 2024 at whole theaters all over in Turkey stay 4 weeks at the theatres with one of the biggest distributer Company Mars Distributing in Turkey. She is membership of SEYAP (Film Producer’s Association of Turkey, EAW (European Women’s Audiovisual Network and Asia Pacific Screen Academy. She fluently speak English and French.
